Studio Matti had the pleasure of shaping the complete brand universe for Lories, a shoe store in Halle with a dual identity: timeless sophistication for adults and a playful, imaginative world for children. This brandbuilding journey encompassed everything from the visual identity and webshop to print design and content creation. The result is a brand that seamlessly balances elegance and joy, creating a shopping experience that speaks to every generation.

From Tiny to Trendy: A Brand Built for All Generations
The general branding for Lories embodies the store’s core identity: muted palettes accented with spot colors, clean lines, and bold typography. This visual language communicates refined taste and understated quality, positioning Lories as a destination for those who appreciate modern minimalism and timeless style. Within this framework, every shoe becomes more than a purchase—it transforms into a statement of elegance.
Playful Creativity for Kids
In contrast, the children’s universe bursts with vibrant colors and whimsical illustrations. From ladybugs to geckos and butterflies, the visual language embraces imagination and curiosity. This approach makes the kids’ section of Lories not just a place to buy shoes, but an engaging environment that invites children and parents alike to explore, play, and enjoy.



A Webshop Bridging Both Worlds
We translated this dual identity into a fully responsive website and webshop. The digital platform balances sleek minimalism with lively accents, offering an intuitive experience for adults while keeping the playful energy alive for children. Visitors can seamlessly browse collections for every age, finding the right pair from “tiny to trendy.”
Print and Content that Connect
Beyond digital, the identity extended to a wide range of print applications: gift cards, store cards, window visuals, and even drawing sheets for children. To capture the essence of the brand, we also organized a content shoot, producing imagery that highlights both the sophistication of the adult line and the joyful creativity of the kids’ collection.
