KINU Kimono

Kinu Kimono is a kimono brand that brings together the elegance of Brussels design with the traditional craftsmanship of Bali. When we were approached to help launch this unique brand, we knew that every detail—from the photoshoots to the digital presence—had to reflect the beauty, luxury, and heritage of the kimonos. Our journey with Kinu Kimono took us from Brussels to Ibiza, ensuring that the story of this handmade clothing line came to life in the most authentic way possible.

Kinu's kimonos are designed in Brussels and handmade in Bali using traditional techniques. The challenge was to visually capture the essence of this cross-cultural collaboration—merging the sleek, modern design aesthetic of Europe with the rich, artisanal heritage of Bali. From the initial brand launch to the website and social media, every aspect had to reflect this fusion of worlds while appealing to a global audience.

The Photoshoots: From Product to Lifestyle

To showcase Kinu Kimono's versatility, we organized two distinct photoshoots. The first, held in Brussels, was focused on the products themselves. We wanted to highlight the details of the kimonos—the craftsmanship, fabrics, and intricate patterns. This shoot was about bringing the quality and design to the forefront, allowing the kimonos to speak for themselves.


For the second shoot, we flew to Ibiza to capture the lifestyle element of Kinu Kimono. This was about showing the kimonos in real life—worn at home, or while relaxing on vacation. The sunny, relaxed vibe of Ibiza provided the perfect backdrop, allowing us to visualize the kimonos as not just clothing, but as an essential part of a laid-back, luxurious lifestyle. The images evoke a sense of escape, showing how Kinu kimonos fit seamlessly into any setting, whether at home or abroad.

Social Media: Building a Global Community

Our involvement didn’t stop at the photoshoots and website; we also manage the social media presence for Kinu Kimono. Through thoughtful content creation, we showcase the brand’s story and the beauty of the kimonos to a growing global audience. From posts that highlight the intricate details of the fabrics to lifestyle imagery that inspires followers to embrace the kimono as a wardrobe essential, we ensure that Kinu Kimono's message reaches its audience with clarity and creativity. Our ongoing strategy includes content creation, copywriting, and performance reporting, ensuring consistency across all platforms.

Launching Kinu Kimono was a unique and exciting journey.
